To achieve this, we need a Senior People & Culture Associate who can help Teach For Thailand attract top talent, develop, and retain top talent; build staff engagement and an organisational culture focused on impact.

The Role : Senior People & Culture Associate (Talent Acquisition Focus)

Are you passionate about identifying and attracting top talent to drive social change in education? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior People & Culture Associate at Teach For Thailand. You will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process that involves requirements understanding, talent pool defining, sourcing, screening and selection of right individuals and act as a brand ambassador of Teach For Thailand to create good experience for candidates. In addition, you will support the performance management, talent development, engagement and other HR related activities. You will keep expectations high so that we can fulfill our mission and make a lasting impact.

Key outcomes for this role will be the following:

  • Fill 100% job vacancies and hire within 60 days (associate) and 90 days for (manager level up) by having a high-quality candidate pipeline in each position.
  • Ensure to hire right candidates and have a smooth transition for new hires for their 80% passing probation rate
  • Contribute to a strong team culture by delivering staff engagement activities within timeline and budget to have 70% staff retention and 4.3 out of 5 staff engagement score
  • Smoothly coordinate all processes and systems related to other human resources to ensure that Teach For Thailand has good talented people and culture to drive our vision come true.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (70%)

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for various roles within the organization.
  • Develop creative and effective sourcing strategies to attract diverse and mission-driven talent.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to identify individuals committed to educational excellence.

Sourcing: 

  • Fill job openings by executing all processes related to talent attraction and selection and continually optimizing the processes and systems to ensure that Teach For Thailand have good hires with the right experience,
  • Act as a recruitment partner to understand deeply our job role and requirements and our hiring process, at the same time, provide assistance to all levels of stakeholders in recruitment related issues,
  • Build the talent pool of the company by sourcing candidates from researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, internet sites, etc.,
  • Proactively approach passive candidates that are potentially a fit to the team and build a pipeline and a robust network of talents.

Selection:

  • Pre-screen candidates’ profiles and propose recommendation to hiring managers,
  • Conduct a competency-based interview during HR screening with candidates,
  • Arrange job interview with candidates and hiring managers,
  • Conduct reference check, coordinate for criminal check, job offering and contract preparation.
  • Provide a great candidate experience and act as a Teach For Thailand’s ambassador to our candidate throughout the recruitment and selection process.

Onboarding:

  • Design and implement onboarding programs, schedule, conduct orientation and prepare devices/tools to immerse new hires in our mission and culture as well as prepare them for success. 
  • Monitor during probation period for all new hires

People & Culture and Other Human Resources (30%)

  • Lead employee engagement activities to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Implement other human resources management and development activities

People & Culture: 

  • Lead and organize employee engagement activities 
  • Conduct regular surveys to understand and respond to the needs of our diverse team and recommend and implement support to improve the well-being of our team members.
  • Organize,  participate in events or activities that foster TFT culture  so that staff have an inspiring, fulfilling and sustainable experience that leads to high engagement and performance

Other Human Resources:

  • Collaborate with managers to ensure effective performance management processes (OKRs writing and grading, Check-In, Performance Review, Individual Development, etc.),
  • Support people development processes, coordinate and arrange the online and offline TFT Learning Classroom as well as learning assessment support.   
  • Update, track and use data and analytics in the HR process,
  • Support other HR projects assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above,
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition/recruitment for full cycle (sourcing to hiring) in a fast-paced recruiting environment, either in-house or in an agency environment,
  • Solid background of sourcing strategies for active and passive talents,
  • Proven ability of recruitment success and experience of/willingness to learn more about other HR functions.

Salary is competitive in the Thai context and depends on prior experience. Benefits include medical insurance, a generous leave policy, and possible opportunities for travel.
