ปัจจุบัน คำถามสำคัญของตลาดแรงงาน ไม่ใช่แค่เด็กเรียนอะไร แต่เป็นคำถามที่ว่า เด็กอยากเป็นอะไร และเขาจะเดินไปถึงสิ่งที่เขาฝันไว้ได้อย่างไร โครงการ ‘Future Ready’ ของทีช ฟอร์ ไทยแลนด์ จึงเกิดขึ้นเพื่อเชื่อมโยงห้องเรียนกับโลกการทำงานเข้าด้วยกัน

ครั้งนี้ โรงงานฟอร์ด มอเตอร์ จังหวัดระยอง ศูนย์กลางการผลิตและส่งออกรถยนต์ระดับโลกของฟอร์ด ไทยแลนด์ ถูกเปิดเป็นพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ให้กับครูและนักเรียนจาก 4 โรงเรียน  คือ โรงเรียนเกาะจันทร์พิทยาคาร โรงเรียนหนองใหญ่ศิริวรวาทวิทยา โรงเรียนชุมชนบริษัทน้ำตาลตะวันออก และโรงเรียนชุมชนวัดทับมา ทั้งหมด 40 คน ได้เข้าไปเห็นระบบการทำงาน แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดกับตัวแทนของบริษัท ทำให้พวกเขามองเห็นเส้นทางชีวิต และค่อยๆ วางแผนอนาคตไปสู่อาชีพที่เขาอยากเป็น

เพราะการเตรียมคนสำหรับโลกการทำงาน ไม่ได้เริ่มที่วันที่เขาสมัครงาน แต่เริ่มตั้งแต่วันที่เขาได้เห็นโลกของอาชีพจริง

เปิดประตูชีวิตการทำงาน

การได้เห็นกระบวนการทำงานจริง ตั้งแต่ต้นน้ำถึงปลายน้ำของโรงงานฟอร์ด มอเตอร์ ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงการทัศนศึกษา แต่เป็นการให้เด็กคนหนึ่งลองเริ่มเชื่อมโยง ‘สิ่งที่เรียน’ กับ ‘สิ่งที่โลกต้องการ’

ขณะเดียวกัน เด็กๆ เองก็เริ่มเห็นว่า ความรู้ในห้องเรียนสามารถกลายเป็นทักษะชีวิตและทักษะอาชีพได้อย่างไร โดยไม่ต้องรอถึงวันที่จำเป็นต้องเลือกเส้นทางชีวิตของตัวเอง

“นักเรียนมาสะท้อนว่า ทราบว่าหุ่นยนต์จะเข้ามามีบทบาทมากขึ้น เขาเลยต้องเตรียมตัวฝึกฝนทักษะต่างๆ มากขึ้น” คุณครูสะท้อน

ผลลัพธ์เชิงการเรียนรู้ยืนยันอีกว่า 95% ของนักเรียนได้รับแรงบันดาลใจในการวางแผนอาชีพ และ 92% เริ่มเห็นความสนใจของตัวเองอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม โดยเฉพาะสายดิจิทัล เอไอ และเทคโนโลยีอัตโนมัติ

การได้เห็นกระบวนการตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบ ไม่เพียงช่วยให้นักเรียนเข้าใจภาพรวมของอาชีพ แต่ยังเป็นการ ‘เปิดประตูชีวิตการทำงาน’ ให้พวกเขาเริ่มต้นคิด วางแผน และออกแบบเส้นทางอนาคตของตัวเอง

ครูเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเรียนรู้  

การไปทัศนศึกษาครั้งนี้ เด็กๆ ไม่ได้เห็นเพียงคุณครูที่กำลังสอนวิชาต่างๆ แต่เห็นครูของพวกเขาเป็นคนชวนคิดไปพร้อมกับจุดประกายให้การเรียนรู้เกิดขึ้นจากคำถามผ่านประสบการณ์จริงตรงหน้า

“นักเรียนได้เห็นอีกบทบาทหนึ่งของเรา นักเรียนเห็นว่าครูเองก็มีส่วนร่วมกับกิจกรรมด้วยเหมือนกัน ทำให้เขากล้าและกระตือรือร้นมากขึ้น” คุณครูที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเล่าให้ฟัง

ส่วนคุณครูเองก็ได้รับไอเดียที่สามารถนำไปต่อยอดการออกแบบห้องเรียนของตัวเองได้ และเติมไฟการทำงานของครูบางคนขึ้นมาอีกครั้ง

“เป็นการทบทวนมุมมองและเป้าหมายของคุณครู แง่หนึ่งเป็นการเติมไฟให้กับคุณครู สำหรับการนำไปเพิ่มหรือปรับลดเนื้อหาบางประการในรายวิชาได้ด้วย”

สิ่งที่เราเห็นตลอดกิจกรรม คือ การที่คุณครูกลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเรียนรู้ เป็นผู้สนับสนุนหลักที่ทำให้ภาพอนาคตของเด็กคนหนึ่งเริ่มฉายแสง เสริมความมั่นใจให้เขาพร้อมก้าวสู่ตลาดแรงงาน

ประสบการณ์ที่เป็นบทเรียนชีวิต

นอกจากการชมสายการผลิตของฟอร์ด มอเตอร์ กิจกรรมครั้งนี้ยังมีการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นระหว่างนักเรียนที่มีคำถามเรื่องเส้นทางอาชีพ ความฝัน ไปจนถึงความกังวลเกี่ยวกับอนาคต และให้พี่ๆ พนักงานตอบจากประสบการณ์ทำงานจริง

เพราะคำตอบเหล่านั้น ทำให้คำว่า ‘อนาคต’ หรือ ‘อาชีพ’ ไม่ใช่เรื่องไกลตัว ส่วนพนักงานฟอร์ดก็เห็นว่า ประสบการณ์ที่สั่งสมมา รวมถึงงานที่ทำอยู่ทุกวันไม่ได้เป็นเพียงหน้าที่ แต่กลายเป็นบทเรียนชีวิตที่ส่งต่อแรงบันดาลใจให้รุ่นน้องได้

พนักงานคนหนึ่งบอกว่า “ภูมิใจที่มีเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรม​ที่ช่วยส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้แก่นักเรียน”

ขณะที่อีกหลายคนมองว่า การได้มาแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดกัน ทำให้พวกเขาสามารถร่วมขับเคลื่อนการศึกษาไทยผ่านสิ่งที่ตนเองถนัดและทำอยู่ทุกวัน ต่อยอดความฝันของเด็กๆ ให้เส้นทางอนาคตที่เคยเลือนราง เริ่มชัดเจนขึ้น และทำให้เด็กคนหนึ่งรู้สึกว่า เขาไม่ได้วิ่งตามความฝันอยู่ลำพัง

การมาชมโรงงานฟอร์ด มอเตอร์ จึงกลายเป็นการเปิดโลกใบใหม่ของเด็กผ่านความร่วมมือของคุณครู พนักงาน และองค์กรที่เชื่อในพลังของการศึกษา

เมื่อภาคการศึกษาและภาคอุตสาหกรรมเดินไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน การเรียนรู้สามารถเกิดขึ้นนอกห้องเรียนได้จริงและสามารถพาเด็กๆ ไปเจออนาคตที่เขาอยากจะเป็น

Turning a factory into a real-life classroom

One of the most valuable experiences for students is the opportunity to learn directly from real workplaces.

Today, the key question in the labor market is no longer only what students study, but who they want to become and how they can reach their dreams. This is why Teach for Thailand launched the ‘Future Ready’ program — to bridge classrooms with the world of work.

In this initiative, Ford Motor Company’s manufacturing plant in Rayong — Ford Thailand’s global production and export hub — opened its doors as a learning space for 40 teachers and students from four schools: Koh Chan Pittayakarn School, Nong Yai Siriworawat Wittaya School, Eastern Sugar Community School, and Wat Thap Ma Community School.

Participants were able to observe real operations, engage in discussions with company representatives, and gain clearer insights into career pathways, helping them gradually shape their future plans.

Because preparing young people for the world of work does not begin on the day they apply for a job — it starts the moment they experience the real world of work.

Opening the door to working life

Seeing the full production process at Ford Motor Company — from upstream to downstream — was not just a field trip. It was an opportunity for students to begin connecting what they learn in school with what the real world needs.

At the same time, students started to see how classroom knowledge can become real-life and professional skills without waiting until the moment they must choose a career path.

One teacher reflected:

“Students told us that they now understand robots will play a bigger role in the future, so they feel they need to prepare and develop more skills.”

Learning outcomes also showed that:

• 95% of students felt more inspired to plan their careers, and
• 92% began to see their interests more clearly, especially in digital, AI, and automation fields.

Experiencing the full process from start to finish not only helped students understand careers more holistically — it truly opened the door to their working lives, encouraging them to think, plan, and design their own futures.

Teachers as part of the learning journey

During this visit, students did not only see their teachers in the traditional role of teaching — they saw them as learning partners who asked questions, sparked curiosity, and explored together through real experiences.

A participating teacher shared:

“Students saw another side of us — that teachers are actively involved in learning too. This made them more confident and enthusiastic.”

Teachers also gained new ideas to redesign their classrooms and, for some, reignited their passion for teaching.

“This experience helped us reflect on our perspectives and goals as teachers. In some ways, it re-energized us to adjust and improve our teaching content.”

Throughout the activity, teachers became a key part of the learning process — not just instructors, but supporters who helped illuminate students’ future possibilities and build their confidence for the workforce.

A life lesson beyond the classroom

Beyond observing the production line, students had meaningful conversations with Ford employees about careers, dreams, and concerns about the future.

These exchanges made the idea of “future” and “career” feel more tangible and less distant. For Ford employees, sharing their experiences transformed their daily work into a source of inspiration for the next generation.

One employee said:

“I am proud to be part of an activity that supports students’ learning.”

Many others felt that by sharing their expertise, they were contributing to Thailand’s education system in their own way — helping students turn blurry dreams into clearer pathways and reminding them they are not alone in pursuing their ambitions.

The visit to Ford Motor Company became more than a factory tour — it became a gateway to a new world for students through collaboration among teachers, employees, and an organization that believes in the power of education.

When education and industry move forward together, learning can truly happen beyond the classroom and help students reach the future they aspire to.
