Teach For Thailand (TFT) is an independent charity with a mission to address educational inequity in Thailand by enlisting our nation’s future leaders to teach in high-need schools. We believe in the value of giving back, inspiring others, and using our knowledge to make a real impact to better the lives of the future generations. At Teach For Thailand we aim to create an equitable education system with the placement of great teachers in high need schools who are committed to improve educational attainment, raise aspiration, and expand educational opportunity for all children. Over time, with insights gained in the classrooms we are committed to drive the impact of our network of alumni to become lifelong leaders in education and across all sectors who work to ensure excellent education for all.

Teach For Thailand is a partner in the Teach For All (www.teachforall.org) network. Teach For All is a network of 61 social enterprises pursuing specific theories of change to end educational inequity in their respective countries.

The Role

To achieve our mission, we are looking to recruit a Head of Human Resources who will be responsible for ensuring Teach For Thailand attracts, develops, and retains top talent; build staff engagement and an organizational culture focused on impact; and shape its overall strategy for staff development. You will maintain high standards across these areas so that we can create a high-performing team to drive towards the organization’s mission. This is a great opportunity for an exceptional leader who has strong general management and human resources experience, is detail-oriented and organized, possesses strong strategic thinking skills, and has the ability to build authentic relationships across different groups of people.

The Head of Human Resources will report directly to the Head of Shared Services. Your focus will be a mix of high level strategy and hands-on people operations for the 20+ employees working in the organization who work to cultivate the leadership of 100+ teachers in the field and 200+ alumni. You’ll be in charge of driving our people operations – generating and executing solutions to improve our existing people processes, keeping in mind the organization’s ambition to scale in the coming years. You will partner closely with our Senior Leadership Team to align human resources practices across the organization, ensuring that everyone internalizes Teach For Thailand’s human resources philosophy as the organization scales up.
